Here's my Alice Enjoy!

She was fun, but stringing her took longer than the painting.... I really have to be more precise in my measurments. (then maybe I wouldn't have needed powertools for assemblage....) Shes made of Prosculpt and is part of my big eye thing I'm fascinated with for now...thanks for looking!

ADO Alice

Wow, she was a lot harder than i thought, but i learned so much. Thank you ADO for this opportunity and I hope you all enjoy! These and other photos on Flickr

Bieber Fever

Hi took my daughters and some friends to Justin Bieber, YAAAAAAYYYYYYY! Actually he's very cute and can sing and there are worse boys my daughter could like. So made a silk screen and screened the shirts with black glitter, then brought fabric markers and foamcore (to slip inside to make coloring easier) so they had something to do on the 2 hour ride to wisconsin.
They turned out cute and the concert was fun,

ok ok so i haven't posted sketches yet, they just seem so bad when i look at them after they are done, i love some of my art for about a day then i see the flaws..... And speaking of flaws, wanted to try prosculpt - LOVE IT!-(get it here) but wanted to just test it out and mess with BJD before i sculpt my Alice doll. It is very rudimentary, and a huge learning tool....but not very good, the next will be better. I'll put legs on her and give her to my daughter tonight to have since she is just practice and a few things i wanted to test out. I sometimes get so wrapped in my own head and my fear of doing it wrong or not being able to make what is in my head a reality i freak myself out to the point of not doing anything, just all in my head. I am really trying to "just do it" and look at projects as building blocks and does not need to be perfect......
