Ok So I bought the Susie McMahon tutorials, and her faces were so fabulous thought i'd try my hand at them, here they are. Not bad...LOTS of room for improvement. I also discovered my dog likes the taste of paperclay and gesso. She ate one....oh well.

Snow in Southland

Hi! made a santa for my parents in Naples Fl. Just to share the abundance of snow we seem to be getting this year here in chicagoland. I'll take snow over ridiculous cold anyday though.

Christmas Gifts

So I am so proud of myself, I planned to make some gifts this year and gave Heather hers this am (i think she likes it) Every year i have all these grande ideas of making things and justify the ridiculous amounts of money i spend on art supplies because "i'm gonna save money and make presents" then each year time gets away from me and i am running around shopping for people. So making one gift so far may not be much to some, but to me it is a big step. Now onto number 2...3....4....5 (ok maybe 2,3, but 5 yeah i'm i'm that organzied, not!)

Birds?

So my girlfriend Heather and I are having a January bird contest - we were both inspired by the book Little Birds such a great little book. So the book is our jumping off point - and we can do whatever - looking forward to it!

Latest Projects

I'll post some pics tonight, but trying to do something "pretty" for my mom, i have a tendency to go a little creepy, which i love but she makes that "oh it's nice..." face that means she thinks something is creepy.
We'll see, i think i just naturally go for a different style, there are just so many amazing uber beautiful so perfect sculpters already...we shall see.

Also been drawing just a little everyday...redeveloping me style....
