Drawing, Drawing, Drawing

OK, tonight I'll post some sketches, just trying to practice my drawing skills, and it's coming back....a little at a time. Just have to redevelop my skills, looking for "my style" and inspiration. Of course my girls inspire me, but they get grouchy when i ask them to pose.... don't they know I'm preserving them in history.....someday......someday, they'll appreciate me.....

What i did last night...

Well... to paint or to sculpt? notice i didn't say sleep, no time for that. Well I painted.. just thought I'd warn that I am going to post some paintings I'm working on tonight. 2 oils one acrylic. I am going back old school and copying the masters (new painters i really love) just been a long time since i did anything not digital so I am going back to my artschool days and copying styles to develop my own. The little painting is a Jasmine Beckett-Griffith copy, thank you Jasmine, you inspire me! (I gotta give credit) (I actually loved her and her art before I knew who she was...love love love her, check her out!) The other paintings are me goofing, no detail, finals will be completely different... Then I sculpt....

Oh yeah NIADA annual conference is in Chicago...Kismet...
